Video Editor/Producer

The role

We’re hiring an editor and motion designer to lead how Knox uses AI in video production.

AI is already part of how we make video. Now we want someone to own it: test new tools, work out what actually improves the work, and build a production workflow the whole team can use. This is the core of the role, not an add-on.

Alongside that, you’ll be a hands-on editor. You’ll take interviews, event footage and campaign messages and turn them into content people stop scrolling for. You’ll cut short social videos, build motion graphics and version work across platforms, with some longer films and fast-turnaround campaign work too.

AI workflow: what you’ll own

• Building and running Knox’s AI video production workflow, from script to final delivery
• Testing AI tools for editing, image generation, voice, animation, captioning and versioning
• Deciding which tools we adopt, and where they save time or raise quality
• Setting up repeatable processes and templates so the team can produce more, faster
• Training colleagues and writing simple guides on how to use the workflow
• Keeping on top of new releases and bringing us the ones worth using

Editing and motion: what you’ll do day to day

• Editing short-form social video and longer campaign and corporate films
• Creating motion graphics, animated captions, data visuals and titles
• Cutting separate versions for each platform, not just resizing one edit
• Finding the strongest story in interviews and raw footage
• Using music, sound and typography to lift an edit
• Helping on shoots, including interviews, events and social content
• Managing feedback and final delivery on your own projects

What we’re looking for

• Proven, hands-on experience using AI tools in a video or creative production workflow
• Examples of a process you’ve improved or built using AI
• 2 to 4 years’ experience in video editing and motion design, agency or in-house
• A showreel that covers both editing and animation
• Strong skills in Premiere Pro and After Effects
• A good sense of pace, structure and what works on each platform
• A sharp eye for detail, and you check your own work before anyone else sees it
• Comfortable handling a few projects at once on fast deadlines

Nice to have

• Experience with automation tools, scripting or connecting tools together
• An interest in politics, current affairs or public affairs
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D or Blender
• Some shoot experience, with basic camera, lighting and sound knowledge
