Role Overview

Position: Intern

While we value digital skills and talent, what matters most in this role is enthusiasm and a willingness to get stuck in. We don’t expect you to know everything. What you don’t know, we’ll teach you, as long as you have a drive to learn.


Knox is a digital communications agency built for influencing politicians, shaping public opinion and convincing the hardest-to-reach audiences.


We’re a highly driven team focused on delivering only the very best for our clients. Your role will be to support the team across a range of functions. You’ll develop new skills, be exposed to clients and gain confidence in how an agency operates and delivers results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing both digital and traditional content

  • Support the development of digital campaigns from concept to execution

  • Conduct research to support existing clients and develop new ones

  • Use analytics tools to monitor and draft reports on campaign performance

  • Help brainstorm creative concepts

  • Assist in basic video & design work

  • Support the team with administrative tasks


Required Skills & Experience

  • Some digital design skills helpful (design and video editing software)

  • Use of Google Suite, Canva, CapCut, Notion and Slack.


Reporting & Structure

  • Reports to Digital Manger at Knox Digital

  • Works closely with account managers, creatives, and other specialists.

Salary & Start Date

  • Above London Living Wage

  • Start Date: Sept 1st or as soon as possible

  • 3 months (with opportunity to extend)


Location

  • 5 days per week in the Office

  • Central London


Process

  1. Initial call – Shortlisted candidates will have an informal call with a Knox Digital Manager to discuss skills, experience, and alignment with the role.

  2. Short Task – Candidates progressing past the first round will complete a written and/or creative assignment. This task will replicate expectations at Knox, assessing both quality of output and enthusiasm to deliver.

  3. Short Interview - Candidates successful in progressing to the next stage will take part in a short interview with a Knox Manager. This conversation will explore the candidate’s approach to the role, problem-solving skills, and cultural fit. A final decision will be made following this stage.
